Betty Jean Flaherty
Age 82, of Prattsburg, NY, passed away September 23, 2025 at The Homestead Nursing Home in Penn Yan, NY.
She was born April 12, 1943, the daughter of the late Gilbert H. and Hazel I. (Sargent) VanNorman. She was one of 13 children.
She is survived by her husband “Butch” Thomas F. Flaherty; sons Joseph Cromheecke and Lyle Lake; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Cromheecke, Emily Butler, Roshanda Lake, and Anthony Lake; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Molly VanNorman.
There are no services. Arrangements with Weldon Funeral Home, Penn Yan, NY.
