Ethan T. Parker

Age 12, of Penn Yan, NY passed away September 20, 2025 from the results of a tragic house fire in the morning of September 19, 2025. He valiantly tried saving his grandmother Patricia Stenz from the fire. She passed away a day following the death of Ethan.

Ethan was a 6th Grade Student at Penn Yan Middle School. He was an amazing and loving soul. Even though he was quiet and shy, he had a smile that would always light up a room. He loved with his whole heart. He especially loved his dear dog, Bea. His special giggle was like no other, and will always be remembered!

He is survived by his loving and caring mother, Beth Russell; grandfather Papa Woody Stenz, grandmother Janet Russell, aunts and uncles, Irene and Marc Rodriguez, Becky and Michael Cornish, Jennifer and Tom Murdock, Will Stenz, and Rob Olsen; and cousins, Derrick and Devin Cornish, Aiden Russell, Griffin (Peyton) Olsen and Amelia and Zola Rodriguez.

He was predeceased by his grandfather Charles Russell; aunts, Amy and Heather Russell; and his beloved dog Bea, who passed away in the fire.

The family will receive friends at the Weldon Funeral Home, 102 East Main Street, in Penn Yan on Sunday (Sept. 28th) from 2pm-5pm; followed by a funeral service at 5pm.
