Jennie Stork Batsleer

Jennie Stork Batsleer Age 98, of Penn Yan, passed away on January 7, 2021 at the Penn Yan Manor Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the last 3 years. Jennie was predeceased by husband, Ansel W. Stork, of Penn Yan and Newark, NY. She was also predeceased by husband, Henry J. Batsleer of Marion, NY. She is survived by her two sons, Jim (Ellen) Stork of Penn Yan and Gary (Mary Coffey) Stork of Northville, MI; three grandchildren, Matthew (Erika) Stork, Rebecca (John) Chima and Shannon Stork; five great -grandchildren, Emily, Kaitlin and Ryan Stork and Asha and Grayson Chima; several nieces and nephews. Jennie was a graduate of Keuka College, and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Lakeside Country Club, Catholic Daughters and various bridge groups. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved taking of her family and whose interests included sewing, tennis, golf, and bridge. Her favorite role was just being Nonnie to everyone who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff of the Penn Yan Manor Nursing Home for the loving care they provided to our “Nonnie”.
