Kirk Cabot Gaylor

Age 62, of Penn Yan, passed away March 15, 2022 at home.

Kirk was born in Penn Yan on Feb. 17, 1960, the son of George and Ernistine Gaylor.  Kirk drove truck for many years, including Bodine Trucking in Stanley.  He also volunteered at the Penn Yan Ambulance Corp. and Penn Yan Fire Dept. He also enjoyed Music DJ'ing  for local weddings and events.  He enjoyed helping others and making sure people laughed. You could always count on Kirk to lighten the mood by cracking a joke.

Kirk is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deborah; daughter Jennifer Lovejoy of Penn Yan; brother Eric (Jan) Gaylor of Illinois; stepbrothers, Rod Carson of Geneva and Mike (Jenny) Carson of Penn Yan; and three grandchildren, Latrysia, Joslyn, and Miranda.  Also, many nieces, nephews, and cousins that he cared for very much.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post 355, 2001 Himrod Rd., Penn Yan, on Saturday, March 26, starting at 2:00pm.
