LeRoy (Butch) F. Meeks

72, of Penn Yan, NY and formerly of Lewis Run, PA, passed away August 1, 2021, at home with family after battling cancer.

Born February 24,1949 in Bradford PA to the late Raymond and Phyllis (Price) Meeks. In November of 1977, he married his loving wife, Judy (Bauer) Meeks.

Butch attended school in Bradford PA. He was employed in the oil fields of PA, for many years and then retired from the Penn Yan School District. Butch loved the outdoors, such as hunting fishing, camping.

Butch is survived by two sons and daughter, George (Lynde) of Glens Falls, Clarence (Lisa), Tammy (Edwin) both of Penn Yan; 5 grandkids Erin, Autumn, Timothy, Collin, Olivia; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by sister Ginger Williams and brother Gerald Meeks.
Funeral services were held at Weldon Funeral Home in Penn Yan.
