Linda Lee Cowell

Linda Lee Cowell (68) passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at her home with family and friends at her side. 

Linda was born in Penn Yan, NY, on January 12, 1954. Along with her husband Richard of 34 years, she was a lifelong resident of Penn Yan. Linda was a 1972 graduate of Penn Yan Academy and was employed for several years by Suburban Propane as a sales representative. Linda should be remembered for her love of family, friends, home, pets, and life.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard, parents, Robert L. Scott, and Margaret (Visalli) Scott. 

Linda is survived by her brother, Douglas (Patti) Scott of Fairport, sister, Polly (Rodney) Bush of Williamson, mother-in-law, Joyce Trombley of The Villages, Florida, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and several life-long friends and family pet, Socks the Kitty.

The family would like to thank Nurse Karen with the URMC Home Hospice and Jan Goodell and Sissy Hartman for their care, support, and friendship during Linda’s final days.

A private celebration of life for Linda and Richard will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Yates County, PO Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
