Later, Mark and his family made their home on the serene shores of Seneca Lake. Together, they transformed a cottage into their lakeside home. Throughout his life, he had a love for things that move fast, none more cherished than his beloved '68 Stingray Corvette and Ski Nautique boat.

Mark pursued higher education at Alfred State, where he further honed his skills and passion for construction by earning a bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Professionally, Mark distinguished himself as a construction project manager, overseeing projects for schools, fire stations, county service buildings, condos, and an airport in Hillsborough and Manatee County, Florida. He was employed  at A.D. Morgan, as project manager, building a middle school in Lakeland, FL.  His commitment to excellence and tireless work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, embodied by his parents, Richard and Christine Grunberg of Penn Yan, his cherished daughter, Natalie Gruniani, and a love in his life, Michelle Grunberg, as well as his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emil and Katie Grunberg, Gordon and Thelma Campbell, a special Aunt, Jeanne Campbell, an infant brother, Todd Matthew and his favorite dog Seneca.

Mark will forever be remembered for his boundless spirit and his devotion to family and friends.  He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and enduring memories.
