Mary R. Owen

Mary R. Owen Age 94, of Penn Yan, NY, passed away Feb. 8, 2021 at the Penn Yan Manor. Mary was born February 10, 1926, the daughter of Italian immigrants, Dominic and Carmella (Cutri) Spano. She worked for Mobil Chemical in Canandaigua for many years and later resided at St. Mark’s Terrace in Penn Yan. While living there, she loved playing Bingo, playing the lottery and eating apple pies! She was predeceased by her son Joseph Owen. Surviving are her grandchildren, Dominic (Lesly) Owen of Penn Yan and Tanya (Michael) Oliver of Hammondsport. There are no prior calling hours. A funeral service will be held at Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., Penn Yan on Saturday (Feb. 13) at 1:00 PM; followed by burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
