Millard F. “Bud” Conger

Age 85, of Branchport, passed away Sunday (August 1, 2021) at home.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the Prattsburg Baptist Church, 5 N. Main St., Prattsburg,  NY 14873.

Bud was born January 1, 1936 in Berne, N.Y. to the late Millard R. and Nellie (VanDeusen) Conger-Jaycox. He was a Bridge Foreman for many years for Yates County Highway Dept. He also owned and operated “Windy Rockarosa Farm” in Branchport.

Bud was married to the late Joyce (Smith) Conger. They were blessed with 10 children Conrad (Arlene) of S.C., Napoleon, Bud M., and Zachary of Mo., Enoch (Liz) of Prattsburgh, Julie of Branchport, Nellie (Bryan) Mitchell of Ohio, Albertus of Albany, Adam (Joan) of Penn Yan, and Babette (Michael) Howe of Mo.

He is survived by seven children; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; half-brothers Walter (Linda) Jaycox of Waterloo and Kenny (Sharyl) Jaycox of Tenn.; and close family friends Phil and Rhea Monnen.

He was predeceased by his children Albertus, Adam and Babette Howe.  Weldon Funeral Home, Penn Yan.
