Age 89 of Penn Yan, NY, passed away May 28, 2026, at the Penn Yan Manor.

The family will receive friends and relatives at Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., Penn Yan on Saturday (June 6th) from 1pm-2pm; followed by a funeral service at 2pm at the funeral home; and burial in Benton Mennonite Cemetery.

Richard was born in Ralpho Township, Lancaster, PA, the son of Romanus and Fannie (Baker) Nauman. He drove Mennonites from the Yates County area for many, many years and found many lifelong friends.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Nancy Nauman, of Tioga, PA; three grandchildren, Travis (Erin) Nauman, Matthew (Emily) Nauman, and Daniel Nauman (Brittany Lovejoy); seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as one step son and two step daughters; several cousins, nieces and nephews; special niece Gwen Groff and special neighbors, Nancy and Tim Oppel.

He was predeceased by his wife Lucetta, and six brothers and two sisters.
