Roger Chidsey

Roger Chidsey, from Penn Yan, New York, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, at the age of 64.

A Celebration of Life will held at the Penn Yan Moose Lodge (301 E. Elm Street) on Friday December 12, 2025, starting at 2:00pm.

Roger was born December 21, 1960, in Penn Yan, He was a lifelong resident of the community he loved. After graduating from Penn Yan Academy in 1979, he served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. Following his service, Roger worked for many years at CCN in Geneva, New York.

Roger was an avid hunter who found joy and peace in the outdoors.

He was predeceased by his wife, Anne; his parents, Donna and Denny; and his brother, Dan Chidsey. He is survived by his children, Danielle (Derek) Pfeiffer, and Cass (Codie) Chidsey, brother Paul (Joy) Chidsey as well as extended family and friends!

For those wishing to honor Roger's memory, donations may be made in Roger's memory to Keuka Comfort Care Home, an organization that provides compassionate end-of-life care.

Arrangements are entrusted to Weldon Funeral Home in Penn Yan, New York.
