Ronald L. Hinson 

Age 76, of Penn Yan, passed away April 26, 2026.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St, Penn Yan on Tuesday (May 5th) from     12pm-2pm; followed by a memorial service at 2pm. A celebration of life will follow at the Moose from 4pm-6pm.

Born July 18, 1949, he was the son of Robert and Carlotta Hinson. Ronald owned and operated Keuka Packaging Company in Hall. NY. He was a graduate of Penn Yan Academy and Tri State University.

He was predeceased by his parents and stepmother Francis Hinson as well as his brother Palmer Moore, sister-in-law Karen Lamanna, and brother-in-law Dale Frankish.

He is survived by his loving family, wife Kathleen Hinson; daughters, Kelly (Michael) Verbridge of Williamson, NY, and Kara Hinson (Dale Lane) of Penn Yan; sisters, Connie McNamara of Penn Yan, and Marleen Ouelettee of Maine; brother-in-law David Patrick (Linda) Frank Lamanna and sister-in-law, Donna Frankish, granddaughter and “Poppy’s little cupcake”, Molly Verbridge; and several nieces and nephews.
