Terry L. Nussbaumer

Age 76, of Penn Yan, NY, passed away March 5, 2024.

Terry was born in Penn Yan on July 29, 1947, the daughter of Alvin and Thelma (Northrup) Housel.  She graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1965.  She was a Human Resource Director for Transelco, Inc. in Dresden.  Terry loved to collect Teddy Bears, especially Boyds Bears and Ty-Dye Bears.  

She is survived by her loving husband Steve Nussbaumer; father Alvin Housel of Penn Yan; brothers, John Housel of Avon, and Jeff (Pam) Housel of Penn Yan; brother-in-law Eric (Vicky) Nussbaumer of North Carolina; sisters-in-law, Karen (David) Roffuss of Victor, Lisa (Dave) Filkins of Hornell; brothers-in-law, John Nussbaumer of Waterloo, David (Val) Nussbaumer of Bath; and several nieces and nephews.  

She was predeceased by her son Steven J. Nussbaumer II; mother Thelma Housel; and sisters-in-law Jean Housel and Becky Nussbaumer.  

The family will receive friends at Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., Penn Yan on Saturday (March 16^th) from 1pm-3pm; followed by a memorial service celebrating her life at 3:00pm. 

Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) or American Cancer Society (cancer.org).  Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
