Terry Allen Robinson

Terry Allen Robinson, a resident of Arcadia, FL, passed away at the age of 71, on Monday July 20, 2026, at his daughter's home in Georgetown, KY.   

Born in Penn Yan, NY on August 16, 1954, he was the beloved son of Kenneth and Madeline Robinson.

Terry proudly served in the United States Army beginning in 1972. His varied careers included roles as a Heavy Equipment Operator, owner of Terry’s Auto Service (1974-1987), electrician at Sloth Electric (1997-2002), maintenance supervisor at Badger Technologies (2002-2007), and a Power Plant Operator at NYSEG (1987-1994). He retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator at DeSoto County Landfill in Arcadia, Florida.

A loving and devoted family man, he is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Nancy Robinson (Dinehart) and three daughters, Dawn M. Robinson, Barto, PA. Terri A. Leach (Matthew), Georgetown, KY and Brenda L. Feaster (David), Georgetown, KY.  Seven grandchildren, Alexis Crouser, Lucas Crouser, Georgetown, KY.  Brandon Feaster (Cassie) Alyssa Feaster, Dover, DE.  Corrine Robinson, Penn Yan, NY  Kevin Kiely, Georgetown, KY. Ava (Sam) Carriero, Auckland NZ and five Great Grand children, Jaelynn, Ryan, JJ, Grayson, and Noah.  Terry Was raised in Potter, NY among 11 siblings. He was predeceased by brothers, Kenneth Robinson, TX, Douglas Robinson, Canandaigua, NY, James (Caroline) Robinson, Potter, NY, Harold Robinson, Canandaigua, NY, Richard Robinson, Naples, NY, William Robinson, Naples, NY and sister Marie (John) Gifford, Waterloo, NY.  He is survived by four sisters, Phyliss Rumsey, Ann Dawson with longtime partner Paul,  Helen Hosmer, Alberta Jackson along with many nieces and nephews.  Terry attended Branchport and Rushville schools. He resided in Penn Yan from 1975 until moving to Florida in 2007 with Nancy.

Terry's passions included his pets Cricket and Little Sister. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes, and auto repair in his spare time. He found joy in family gatherings at their camp and cheered on NASCAR and the Buffalo Bills.

In memory of Terry, donations may be made to the Yates County Humane Society or a local animal shelter. 

Family and friends are invited to calling hours at Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., in Penn Yan on Saturday, August 1st, from 11am to 1pm. A private graveside service will follow at Friend Cemetery.  Condolences may be shared at www.WeldonFuneralHome.com.
