Wade A. Hammond
Age 70, of Penn Yan, passed away suddenly on November 10, 2024.
Wade was born in Penn Yan NY on January 6, 1954, the son of Amos and Laura Hammond. He graduated from Penn Yan Academy, Class of 1972. At different points of his life he loved to snowmobile; hunt; ice fish; go 4-wheeling and camping at his old camp up north in the Adirondacks. He was a retired contractor.
He was predeceased by his father Amos Hammond; sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Don Murdock; and nephew Shawn Murdock. He is survived by his mother, Laura Hammond; son Mark Hammond (James Eisenberg); sisters, Jean Murdock and Joan (Russ) Giesy; brother Glenn (Val) Hammond; along with many nieces and nephews.
